Animefest 2018 was 15th year and was held in bigger venue (halls A1+A2) at the Exhibition Ground. As each year, several contests were held - international AMV contest, two cosplay contests, and FestDance contest. For the first time, cosplay contest was qualifier for the European Cosplay Gathering (solo representant is TanakhT, and in group category Ali & Germia & Ketrin) and again for the international C4: Clara Cow's Cosplay Cup - Czechia was represented by team Arisu & Toph.
Animefest 2018 was organized under the auspices of the Embassy of Japan in Czech Republic, and the mayor of the city of Brno. Our main technology partner is Comfor. We also want to thank our partners who supported us.
