Animefest 2017 was 14th year and was attended by 5500 unique visitors. As each year, several contests were held - international AMV contest, two cosplay contests, and FestDance contest. For the first time, cosplay contest was qualifier for the international C4: Clara Cow's Cosplay Cup - Czechia was represented by team Higetsu & Kuromaru.
Animefest 2017 was organized under the auspices of the Embassy of Japan in Czech Republic, and with the financial support by the city of Brno. We also want to thank our partners who supported us.
