About shards of Animefest

Collecting shards allows you to buy unique rewards which cannot be obtained otherwise – all you need to do is visit the booth Factions and shards on the ground floor of hall A2 and exchange shards for the faction buttons or stickers.

Faction battle
Collected shards are also counted towards the total score of the individual factions which are competing against one another for the victory of this year’s Animefest. Purchasing faction rewards doesn't take the points away from your faction.

Theme of the next Animefest
Shards are also counted as bonus when you vote for the theme of the next Animefest. Just select the theme you are rooting for and your shards will be added. And once you collect some more shards, you don't need to vote again; they will be counted automaticaly.

Where can I find shards?

E1

Lancraft zone
- participation in a Nutrend Power Challenge
- winning the Nutrend Power Challenge
- participation in a tournament
- participation in a Beat Saber
- participation in a Just Dance
Board Games
- playing a traditional japanese game
- victory in Shogi, GO, Hanafuda or Mahjong
- 1st–3rd place in a tournament
- playing an adventure in RPG Zone
- trying out a new board game from Board Games partners
- playing a card game
- playing a game with "Mech"
- attending a workshop in Paint Zone
Sillicon
- AI mascot image creation
- clip with AF dragon creation
- activities in the Silicon Zone

E0

Fighter’s Den
- all workshops (no need to register)
- (basically everything except a free arena)

A1

Music Games
- play at least three games
- new high score in a music game
- 1st–3rd place in a tournament
Fashion Corner
- workshops & presentations

A2

Faction & Shards
- participation in a childs adventure
- saying the correct name of all four Factions or name of all the mascots
- answering the special draw question
- take a selfie and share it on socials with #animefest2024
- take a selfie with somebody in cosplay from the same anime as you
- by solving the fashion maze

Everywhere

all other workshops (E1/S1, S2; E0/Dance Stage, A1/Workshops)
activity during presentations (answering questions, etc.)
finding and bringing a "Treasure" to Factions & Shards at A2

Shards are collected for your visitor QR code, which is a part of your ticket. It’s sufficient to save it as a picture or 7-character shortened code in your phone, tablet or carry it with you. The best way is saving it on the Animefest website or app (see below).

Shards are awarded by presentation curators, workshop organisers or game administrators. Voting in Animefest contests polls grants you a shard automatically.

How do I check how many shards have I collected?

Insert your ticket’s QR code (or the 7-character shortened code) in the Animefest website:

or into the Animefest mobile app
app.animefest.cz (section Profile)
where after choosing faction the collected shards and short description of their origin will be displayed.

You can scan the QR code from your ticket simply by clicking the Scan QR code located above.

What if you choose wrong faction or vote incorrectly?

Just visit us at the booth Factions and shards on the ground floor of hall A2 and we will patch up right away!
